Copper Cathode

Copper Cathode is high-purity copper obtained through electrolytic refining processes, also known as grade A copper.

Rose-red metal, with a density of 8.92 g/cm³, a melting point of 1083.5℃, and excellent ductility. Its electrical and thermal conductivity is second only to silver, it is non-magnetic and can be processed both cold and hot.

It is stable at room temperature and forms protective patina (CuCO₃·Cu(OH)₂) on the surface in a humid CO₂ environment. It reacts with oxygen at high temperatures to form oxides and is sulfuric acid containing oxidants.
